Verdict

Tony McCoy: "It's very tough conditions out there for any horse and he's young and progressive. I tried not to be too hard on him. He's very brave and kept responding. I quite liked him the last couple of times, hence why he's changed colours and has new owners. I think he'll make a nice chaser, hopefully he will. He's not ungenuine. It's atrocious conditions for a young horse and he had unbelievable tenacity to keep going because he had every right to pack it in earlier. In fairness to him he kept responding."

Jonjo O'Neill: "He gave him a great ride. That's AP at his best. You're never beat when he's on your side. Our horse kept pulling a bit out and AP kept him going and kept him balanced, as he does. He'll go chasing next year. He's definitely a chaser in the making."
