Verdict

George Baker: "I don't want to hark back to 12 months ago, but that was bitterly disappointing as that was his first win in a long time. He has repaid us over the last 12 months with a couple of wins, but this race has caused so much angst and heartache. I was at Chepstow last year and I couldn't believe they took it away from us, but a year on we have got it right. He is a moody old boy and he has his off and on days, luckily we bumped into an 'on' day."
