Hull KR coach Chris Chester praises Huddersfield's Danny Brough

Hull KR coach Chris Chester described Danny Brough as "the best kicking half-back" in Super League after he scored his 100th career try in Huddersfield's 32-14 victory over the Robins on Sunday.
Brough also created two tries and kicked four goals as Huddersfield strengthened their grip on a top-four spot with a third straight win and ended Hull KR's four-game winning run in the process.
The Giants ran in six tries in total, with Brough, Michael Lawrence, Aaron Murphy, Leroy Cudjoe, Jermaine McGillvary and Ukuma Ta'ai all crossing the whitewash, but it was Brough's kicking display that drew praise from Chester.
"We spoke all week about putting pressure on Brough but we just couldn't do that," said Chester.
"He's the best kicking half-back in the competition by a mile. I wish he was in my team as he was the difference between the sides."
Kris Welham, Albert Kelly and Josh Mantellato scored Hull KR's three tries but they were well beaten at the John Smith's Stadium and Chester cited fatigue as a contributing factor to their downfall.
"The boys are going to get a few days off and they deserve it," he added.
"It's farcical that we've played three games in 10 days, but it's the people at the top who decide when we play these games."
Potential banana skin
Huddersfield coach Paul Anderson joined opposite number Chester in waxing lyrical about Brough and also had kind words about his team's display in a game he described as a "potential banana skin".
"He's a great player and I'm really pleased he got the try," Anderson said.
"We've come off a week off and it could've been a potential banana skin against a team who are doing well.
"But we competed really well and, while there wasn't much tempo to the game, we did what we had to do.
"Now we've got make sure we do the right things through the week so our energy levels are good for Friday (against St Helens)."
