The Giants ended a losing streak of four matches with victory over Salford on Good Friday and will be looking to build on that success against the Wildcats.
Despite his players having just two days' rest, Huddersfield coach Paul Anderson has decided against rotating his squad following the win at the AJ Bell Stadium.
Meanwhile, the Wildcats are looking to rebound after suffering a 43-20 defeat at home to arch-rivals Castleford on Friday.
Head coach Richard Agar has made four changes to his 19-man squad for the contest, resting backs Dean Collis and Reece Lyne, who have been carrying quad and toe injuries respectively in recent weeks.
In addition, second-rower Danny Kirmond and half-back Pita Godinet picked up knocks in the defeat to the Tigers and will not be involved on Monday.
Agar has brought in Lucas Walshaw, Jordan Crowther, Jon Molloy and Luke Briscoe to fill the gaps vacated by the quartet.
Huddersfield squad: Grix, McGillvary, Cudjoe, Wardle, Murphy, Brough, Crabtree, Lunt, Kopczak, Chan, Bailey, Lawrence, Patrick, Ta'ai, Wood, Kaufusi, Mullally, Johnson.
Wakefield squad: Mathers, Fox, Riley, Molloy, Sykes, Crowther, Anderson, McShane, Walshaw, Briscoe, Washbrook, Ryan, Annakin, Smith, Moore, Siejka, Sammut, Scruton, Raleigh.
