The fixture list has not been kind to Hull KR as they follow up a tough trip to Leeds with a home game against St Helens.
Rovers came close to starting the new season with a shock win last weekend at Headingley until falling away in the final quarter.
That 20-12 defeat to the defending champions showed that Justin Morgan's side are capable of competing at the top level after a major overhaul of the playing squad that kept them up last year.
However, the Robins' hard work against the Rhinos came at a price with Jake Webster and Shaun Briscoe both picking up injuries.
New Zealand international Webster, who showed his quality with two tries on debut, had to be taken off before the end with a leg injury.
Full-back Briscoe suffered a nasty cut but both players have been included in the 20-man squad.
There is also a place for Jason Netherton and he could return after a lengthy spell out of action following wrist reconstruction surgery.
Sculthorpe sits out
St Helens head to Craven Park without club captain Paul Sculthorpe.
The Great Britain international is fit but will not be risked just yet after two injury-plagued seasons.
Willie Talau, who missed the friendly win over Wakefield last weekend, is available again.
Saints made no new signings in the off-season so the squad is the same as the one which lost in last year's Grand Final.
Hull KR squad: Briscoe, Fox, Walker, J. Webster, Fitzhenry, Chester, J. Webster, Vella, K. Netherton, Mills, Newton, Galea, Murrell, Gene, Aizue, Crossman, Cockayne, J. Netherton, Welham, Menzies.
St. Helens squad: Wellens, Gardner, Gidley, Talau, Meli, Pryce, Long, Fozzard, Cunningham, Gilmour, Wilkin, Roby, Bennett, Flannery, Graham, Hargreaves, Smith, Clough, Tyrer, Fa'asavalu.
