Warrington will be wary of part-timers Oldham when they take on the Challenge Cup outsiders at Stalybridge Celtic's Bower Fold ground on Saturday.
Oldham pulled off one of the biggest upsets in the competition's history with their 36-22 win at last year's beaten finalists Hull KR in the last round and have won three of their last four matches in the Championship.
Wolves coach Tony Smith said: "Oldham have had some good results lately and they play on what most will regard as a very small pitch so we'll have to make those adjustments.
"Of course we feel we should be going there as favourites but it's going to be a tricky encounter and we need to take care of what's in front of us, play the conditions and give the opposition the right sort of respect."
Oldham coach Scott Naylor said: "We'll approach it like we approach all our games. We want to get through to the next round but it's pretty obvious how big the task is."
Smith will have at least one debutant after including youngsters Morgan Smith, Dan Murray and Joe Ryan in his 19-man squad, along with winger Gene Ormsby, who will make his first appearance of the season after returning from a loan spell at Huddersfield.
