St Helens coach Royce Simmons has added youngsters Nathan Ashe and Tom Armstrong to his depleted squad to face Huddersfield Giants on Friday.
Kyle Eastmond has joined the casualty list with a groin problem and joins dead-leg victims Jonny Lomax, Chris Flannery and Tommy Makinson on the sidelines.
However Gary Wheeler has recovered from a shoulder injury and returns to the squad for the first time since the Good Friday defeat to Wigan.
Brown boost
The Giants have received a huge boost with captain Kevin Brown back after a month out with a knee injury.
Coach Nathan Brown can also call on David Fa'alogo who returns after back problems, and Luke O'Donnell.
Joe Wardle and Keith Mason also miss out but youngster Jacob Fairbank retains his place after an impressive debut against Hull KR.
