Halifax became the first team to reach the fifth round of the Carnegie Challenge Cup on Friday after claiming a 56-4 win at Co-operative Championship 1 side Swinton.
Two tries from Australian stand-off Luke Branighan handed the 1987 Cup winners a 12-4 lead at half time.
Countrymen Shad Royston and Ben Black then both scored twice after the break as Halifax booked their place in Sunday's draw for the last 16.
Said Tamghart, Mark Roberts, Sean Penkywicz and Steve Bannister scored Halifax's other tries, with Lee Patterson kicking eight goals.
Barry Hamilton was Swinton's solitary tryscorer 10 minutes before half-time.
