Wakefield moved into plus points for the first time this season with a 52-32 Super League victory over Harlequins on Sunday.
The Wildcats, who started on minus four points after going into administration in March, moved onto plus two following this, their third win of the season.
Ben Jeffries touched down twice and Josh Griffin scored 20 points, including seven conversions and a penalty, plus his side's fourth try.
Wakefield took control early on through Tommy Lee and Glen Morrison before three tries in 10 minutes from Stuart Howarth, Griffin and Luke George saw the home side race to a 26-0 lead after just 28 minutes.
Chris Bailey crashed over for Quins four minutes later to take his side into half-time trailing 26-6.
But Jeffries took just three minutes after the restart to make it 32-6 and a rout looked increasingly on the cards.
Transformed
Then from out of nowhere Quins transformed themselves into an attacking force, as tries in quick succession from Jamie O'Callaghan, Rob Purdham and Chris Melling cut the gap to just 10 points at 32-22.
But when Clubb was sent to the sin-bin after the Londoners had been penalised for a series of high shots, the hosts were able to regain control of the match.
Chris Dean touched down on 62 minutes and Josh Griffin added the extras plus a penalty to stretch the lead to 40-22.
Jeffries claimed his second on 67 minutes but Quins continued to push hard leading to tries by Karl Pryce and Luke Dorn in the last 10 minutes.
But Paul Johnson sealed the win two minutes from time when he crossed for Wakefield's ninth try to close out the game.
