Wakefield coach Brian Smith has former Leeds prop Ian Kirke available for his first game in charge after recovering from a broken thumb
However Wakefield's injury list continues to grow as outside backs Richard Owen and Craig Hall have joined Reece Lyne, Ali Lauitiiti, Scott Anderson and Matty Ashurst on the sidelines after being hurt in the defeat by Leeds.
Brian Smith said, “I am pleased to welcome Ian Kirke back into the squad. I have had a positive reaction from the players this week in training, and I am now hoping that they transfer this into the game on Sunday.”
Salford have forward Lama Tasi back from a three-match injury absence and goalkicking centre Josh Griffin returns from a one-match ban and is set to play alongside brothers George and Darrell for only the second time.
The last time the two sides met was at the AJ Bell Stadium back in March and it was the Red Devils who came out on top in a close game that finished 24-18 to the home side.
Tries from Junior Sa’u, Weller Hauraki, Rangi Chase and Greg Johnson all scored for the Red Devils last time around and they are all named in this week’s 19 man squad.
