Wakefield will attempt to get back to winning ways when they host Widnes in a crucial Qualifiers clash on Saturday.
The Wildcats have a 50 per cent record in the Qualifiers after their two-game winning streak was ended by Hull KR last weekend, leaving them fourth in the table with three matches remaining.
Widnes, meanwhile, ran in 42 points without reply to beat Bradford 56-12 at Odsal last Sunday.
"If they repeat that performance we'll certainly be in for a battle," said Wakefield coach Brian Smith.
"They were very dominant and went on with the job a little better than when we beat Bradford."
Wakefield have hooker Michael Sio back from suspension while Widnes are likely to be unchanged.
