Aironi coach Rowland Phillips has opted to tweak his line-up for the visit of Connacht.
Former Parma full-back Giulio Rubini will return to the starting XV, with James Marshall moving to fly-half and Riccardo Bocchino dropping to the bench.
There is a change in the pack too, with Fabio Staibano getting the nod at tighthead prop.
Italy international Pablo Canavosio will start among the replacements as Aironi look to avenge their 11-6 defeat in Galway last time out.
Connacht have made just the one change from the side that won that encounter - with Ireland hooker Sean Cronin returning to the side.
The inclusion of Cronin means Adrian Flavin has to settle for a place on the bench.
