Andy Beattie will make his 200th appearance for Bath when Edinburgh head to The Rec on Sunday.
Beattie will line up in the back-row for the match, with the Scot "honoured" to have reached the landmark.
''I can't quite believe it! It has taken about eight or nine years," he told the club's official website.
"It's fantastic. Some top, world-class players have passed the 200-mark so it's nice to reach that milestone. I think Dave Barnes is up there.
"I have played with some greatest players over the years and I feel honoured and privileged to get there."
Edinburgh head coach Rob Moffat has recalled Scotland fly-half Phil Godman for the crucial Heineken Cup pool four match away to Bath.
The 27-year-old was rested for the Magners League victory at Llanelli Scarlets following his involvement in the autumn internationals.
Hooker Ross Ford and winger John Houston are recalled to the starting line-up while Allister Hogg is named on the replacements bench after recovering from a hip injury.
First-team captain Mike Blair is out with an ankle injury joining Simon Webster (hamstring) and Simon Cross, Andrew Easson, Jim Hamilton, who all have knee problems.
Moffat said: "Every game is important for us, but we know that if we don't win at Bath then it will be incredibly difficult to achieve anything in Europe this season.
"We have difficult selection calls to make every week which is really good and speaks volumes about the quality within our squad.
"Last week, we won the game, but our performance could have been better and we are looking for improvements this week.
