Glasgow will be without first-choice half-backs Dan Parks and Mark McMillan for Sunday's make-or-break Heineken Cup clash at Bath.
The loss of the influential halves to knee injuries is a huge blow to the Warriors, who must win this weekend to stand any realistic hope of reaching the quarter-finals after losing their opening two Pool Five games.
Scotland fly-half Parks is replaced by 20-year-old Ruaridh Jackson, who will start at stand-off for the first time in his professional career.
Head coach Sean Lineen said: "Ruaridh has been involved in just about all our games so far this season and I've been very impressed with his attitude.
"I've always rated him very highly. He has a great temperament and wants to be the best he can be."
Scrum-half McMillan, who was part of the Scotland squad for last month's autumn internationals, is replaced by Colin Gregor.
Poised
There are two further personnel changes from the side which whitewashed Cardiff Blues 28-0 last Friday, a result which lifted Glasgow up to second in the Magners League.
Prop Kevin Tkachuk and flanker John Barclay return following international duty with Canada and Scotland, respectively, whilst Kelly Brown moves from openside to blindside.
Jose Maria Nunez Piossek, Argentina's all-time record points scorer, is named on the bench, from where he is poised to make his Warriors debut.
Bath welcome back captain Michael Lipman for the visit of the Warriors on Sunday.
With the international players back at The Rec, the team is bolstered, adding extra competition for each shirt.
Michael Stephenson makes a return at wing, with Tom Cheeseman and Eliota Fuimaono-Sapolu in the centre.
