Benetton Treviso v Glasgow Warriors: Guinness PRO12 preview
Last Updated: 01/04/16 1:56pm
Glasgow flanker Simone Favaro will face former side Treviso for the first time on Saturday when the Warriors visit the Stadio Monigo.
The Italy international is named at openside flanker as Glasgow look to build on last weekend's comeback win over Ulster and keep their PRO12 play-off hopes alive.
The Warriors will spend eight days in Italy, with their re-arranged fixture against Zebre scheduled for next Friday.
Taqele Naiyaravoro replaces Tommy Seymour on the wing while Peter Horne comes in to partner Mark Bennett in the centre. Finn Russell and Henry Pyrgos continue at half-back.
Tim Swinson is named alongside Glasgow skipper Jonny Gray in the second row while Josh Strauss moves to blindside flanker to accommodate Adam Ashe's inclusion at No 8.
The Warriors are on a five-game winning streak in the PRO12 and have won their last eight fixtures against Treviso.
"Treviso will be tough opposition as they showed in the game at Scotstoun earlier in the season, when we won with a late try," said Glasgow head coach Gregor Townsend.
"They have also performed very well at home in their most recent games.
"Back-to-back games in Italy enables us to take out an extended squad of 35 players to have a week-long training camp, which we're all looking forward to."
