Martin Corry will return to Leicester's back row for Saturday's Heineken Cup clash with Benetton Treviso in Italy.
Head Coach Heyneke Meyer has been forced into making a change in his forward pack after an injury to openside Ben Woods.
The absence of the flanker Tom Croft moves across the back row and skipper Corry switches from lock to take the number six shirt.
Marco Wentzel, who plays against Treviso for the first time since leaving for Welford Road in 2007, comes in to partner Ben Kay in the second row.
Hard-fought result
The Tigers retain the same backline that started the hard-fought victory against the Ospreys last Sunday.
Seru Rabeni returns to the squad after suspension and is named among the replacements, while Brett Deacon is called up to provide cover for the back-row positions.
"It was important that we started the competition with a win last week," said Meyer. "Now we need to take the same mentality and the same focus into Saturday's game.
"This team sets high standards, they keep pushing themselves and they know they can play better. I like that attitude.
"I know Treviso coach Franco Smith quite well, they will be physical opponents and it is important for us to be on top of our game."
Treviso recall Marius Goosen to the left wing for the match, replacing Emiliano Mulieri and shifting Andy Vilk over to the right.
Up front, Augusto Allori moves from hooker to prop, with Franco Sbaraglini returning from injury to hook at the scrums.
