Treviso v Scarlets: Teams

Benetton Treviso have named a number of Italy internationals in their line-up for their Magners League debut against the Scarlets.

Azzurri stars Luke McLean Alessandro Zanni, Robert Barbieri, Manoa Vosawai, Leonardo Ghiraldini, Alberto Sgarbi and Ezio Galon have all been named in the starting XV.

Rising academy star Tommaso Benvenuti is also handed his chance to shine after being included on the wing.

Scarlets fly-half Rhys Priestland has been passed fit to face Treviso on Saturday.

Priestland has been in impressive form in pre-season, but he injured his his shoulder against Exeter last time out.

However he will pull on the No.10 jersey, with Morgan Stoddart named at full-back.

Newly-capped Wales flanker Rob McCusker will lead the Scarlets for the tough assignment and coach Nigel Davies believes his side can get off to a positive start.

"I am really comfortable and excited about the mix of senior experience and rising talent that we have in this Scarlets squad going forward and this is the strongest group of players we have had since I started as head coach," said Davies.

"I am optimistic we can build on last season's performances and the coaching team are genuinely excited about the potential that exists here now."
