Ben Evans will make his first appearance in the Heineken Cup for Calvisano on Saturday, as the Italian minnows travel to Aguilera to take on Biarritz.
The former Wales, Cardiff Blues and Sale Sharks tighthead has been named in a powerful front row that also features Italian hooker Leonardo Ghiraldini and Hoani Tui.
Calvisano were hammered 56-20 against Cardiff Blues, and will face an even bigger task on the road this weekend.
Young Italian cap Luke McLean slots in at full-back, with fellow Test cap Matteo Pratichetti slotting in at outside centre.
The only change in the backs for Biarritz comes on the left wing, where Philippe Bidabe gets the nod ahead of Jean-Baptiste Gobelet, who has to settle for a place on the bench.
Up front Jacques Cronje moves from the back row to the second row, and Peïo Som comes in on the openside flank.
