Discipline is the key word of Bristol coach Richard Hill as he looks to guide his into the last eight of the Heineken Cup.
Victory over pool leaders Cardiff will not be enough to guarantee the Memorial Ground side into the knockout phases, with Bristol needing to pick up a bonus point while guiding denying the Blues an extra point.
Then Hill and his troops be waiting to see what happens at The Stoop, with Stade Francais also in the mix to top the table.
And Hill knows that having lost 34-16 to Cardiff in the opening match his side cannot afford any slip ups.
Hill said: "We've still got a mathematical chance of going through and the players are ready and all pumped up for it. It should be a fantastic game and a fantastic occasion.
"We're the outsiders. I think Stade Francais and Cardiff are probably the favourites but we could surprise everyone at the end, you never know. There's a huge incentive for us.
"We'll need to concentrate and keep our discipline. We didn't do that at Cardiff and conceded three late tries. They keep going and going and wear you down. They'll keep running the ball at you and your defence has to be absolutely spot on for 80 minutes."
Illness
Hill makes three changes to the team that was beaten in Paris by Stade Francais - with Anthony Elliott replacing David Lemi on the wing after the Samoan international returned home due to an illness in the family.
In the pack, Alex Clarke replaces Darren Crompton at loosehead and Alfie To'oala comes in for Joe El Abd at openside flanker.
Cardiff Blues coach Dai Young has opted to just tweak his backline for the must-win clash against Bristol.
The Blues currently top Pool Three, but with both Bristol and Stade Francais hot on their heels, they need to win to guarantee their place in the last eight.
As a result, Young has kept faith with 14 of the 15 who started the 23-12 victory over Harlequins, with Dafydd Hewitt the odd man out.
Hewitt's place at inside centre goes to veteran Gareth Thomas, with Jamie Robinson promoted from the bench to take the vacant wing spot.
The on-loan Tal Selley comes in on the bench for the Welsh region.
