Neil Brew returns to the Bristol starting line-up for Sunday Premiership clash with Harlequins.
The New Zealand centre has recovered from the knee injury which has kept him out of action since January's Heineken Cup match against Cardiff.
He replaces Rob Higgitt, who picked up a knock at Newcastle last weekend, while there is one other change in the backs which sees Samoa international David Lemi replace Anthony Elliott.
There are three changes in the forwards, where Alex Clarke takes over from Darren Crompton at loose head, Nathan Budgett comes in for Sean Hohneck in the second row and Andrew Blowers replaces Joe El Abd on the open side.
Selection woes eased
Assistant coach Paul Hull says the return of several players from injury has made team selection much easier in recent weeks.
"Shaun Perry, Dan Ward-Smith, Neil Brew, Tom Arscott and Nathan Budgett are all back in the picture now which freshens things up and gives us the option to rest a few," Hull said.
"And those guys are hungry to play because they haven't played for weeks. That has given us a really big lift and hopefully the impetus to go and make it three wins from three."
Harlequins have made four changes for the trip to the Memorial Stadium, two in the starting line-up and two on the bench.
In the forwards, Ollie Kohn partners George Robson in the second row with lock James Percival rested.
Hal Luscombe returns to take the place of the injured Ugo Moyne in the backs, while Chris Malone and Jordan Turner-Hall are on the bench at the expense of Seb Jewell and Andy Gomarsall.
