Brumbies v Reds: Teams

New Brumbies coach Tony Rea has opted to make just the one change for the Super Rugby showdown with the Reds.

With flanker Mitch Chapman suspended, Colby Faingaa is promoted from the bench, with Michael Hooper named among the replacements.

Rea has also made an additional change on the bench, with Christian Lealiifano replacing Andrew Smith.

"It has been a reasonably turbulent week, so we are looking for a bit of stability in the team," Rea said.

"A lot of guys want to get back after the performance of last week where they were not really happy with themselves as a rugby team."

Reds coach Ewen McKenzie has responded to the 30-6 defeat to the Brumbies by making eight changes to his squad.

Beau Robinson, Leroy Houston and Ben Lucas come into the starting XV, while Scott Higginbotham moves to the blindside flank.

Adam Wallace-Harrison, Liam Gill, Ed Quirk and Luke Morahan has been included on the bench.

"Benny Lucas is one of our most competitive and enthusiastic players we have in the squad," McKenzie said.

"He is a great talker and communicator around the field, plus he is a creative playmaker, giving us another option to use.

"We've been developing him as a 15, where he also played last year.

"Beau has done a good job coming in lifting the performance the past two games and in the trials. We think he deserves an opportunity to start.
