Cheetahs v Stormers: Teams

The Cheetahs have made just one, suspension-enforced, change to their team for their final Super 14 match against the Stormers in Bloemfontein on Saturday.

With scrum-half Tewis de Bruyn serving a three-week suspension following his spear tackle on Bulls wing Akona Ndungane last week, Sarel Pretorius will start in the number nine jersey.

Cheetahs coach Naka Drotské told a media gathering in Bloemfontein that he is expecting a brutal battle against the visitors from Cape Town.

"We know it is a tall order," Drotské said. "The Stormers' forwards have improved dramatically since last year and even without players like Andries Bekker and Schalk Burger they remain a very potent unit."

Stormers coach Rassie Erasmus has made one change to his starting line-up for the team's final match of the Super 14 season.

The Cape Town-based franchise left their Newlands faithful with plenty to cheer about following their close 25-24 win over the Force in round 13, but face a daunting trip to Bloemfontein as they bid to end a forgettable season off on a high.

Prop JD Moller has been granted compassionate leave after his father was killed in a car accident, and so Wicus Blaauw starts at loosehead with Schalk Ferreira covering the bench.

With centre Jean de Villiers and flank Schalk Burger still sidelined through injury, Luke Watson will continue to lead the side from the number eight position.
