Chiefs v Brumbies: Teams

Chiefs coach Dave Rennie has been forced to shuffle his line-up for Friday's Super Rugby clash with the Brumbies in Tauranga.

Sam Cane and Jackson Willison are the only changes of personnel following the win over the Crusaders - however their inclusion has seen Rennie juggle his options.

Cane replaces Kane Thompson in the starting XV, however he will start on the openside, with Liam Messam moving to No.8 and Tanerau Latimer switching to the blindside.

With Asaeli Tikoirotuma missing the match due to personal reasons, Richard Kahui will take his spot on the wing allowing Willison to partner Sonny Bill Williams in the centres.

There are three further changes among the replacements with development duo Josh Hohneck (prop) and Marcel Cummings-Toone (hooker), back-rower Scott Waldrom and utility back Maritino Nemani all called in.

Sidelined

The Brumbies have responded to their last-gasp victory over the Cheetahs by rotating his squad.

Joe Tomane and Ian Prior come into the back division, while Michael Hooper, Scott Fardy and Leon Power have been added to the pack.

Tomane will start in the No.12 jersey, allowing Christian Lealiifano - the match-winner against the Cheetahs - to shuffle across and replace the sidelined Matt Toomua at fly-half.

The inclusion of Fardy at blindside means that Peter Kimlin slots back into the second row.

Sam Carter, Ita Vaea and Nic White all drop to the bench, while Ben Hand misses out on the match-day squad.
