Veteran centre Tana Umaga has been recalled to the Chiefs side for the clash against the Rebels in Hamilton.
The 37-year-old missed the defeat to the Highlanders but he is joined in the backline by Brendon Leonard and Stephen Donald.
Leonard replaces the axed Tawera Kerr-Barlow, with Donald coming in for the benched Mike Delany.
In the pack, Toby Smith and Hayden Triggs are ruled out through injury - with Ben May and Craig Clarke coming in.
"We have had two tough weeks on the road, made tougher with not getting the results we wanted," said Foster, whose side are winless in the competition.
"However, we are making good progress and we are very determined to play well at our first home game this year."
The Rebels have opted to retain their same starting XV following their historic first victory.
Coach Rod Macqueen has made one change on the bench, with Peter Betham replacing Luke Rooney.
