Connacht have made one change to their line-up for the clash against Aironi on Friday.
Connacht's victory over Treviso last time out was their five win in the past six games - with confidence high in Galway.
With Sean Cronin returning to the Ireland squad, Adrian Flavin takes over the hooking duties - with Dermot Murphy coming in on the bench.
There is also a place among the replacements for club captain John Muldoon, who returns after a three-month lay-off with a broken arm
Aironi have also made just the one change to their line-up following a gutsy display against Ulster.
With Pietro Travagli returns to Petrarca Padova after the end of his loan spell, Tito Tebaldi returns at scrum-half.
And coach Rowland Phillips is hoping his side can build on their performance against Ulster and gain a first league win.
Phillips said: "The most positive thing from the last game was that, after the first 20 minutes, we started to play our game not only to be competitive, but to win the game.
"We showed good structures both in offense and defence to dominate the second half at Ulster. If we are able to build on that performance, it could be another step toward the first win."
