Injuries have forced Edinburgh coach Andy Robinson to travel to the Sportsground to take on Connacht in the Magners League with an extended squad.
Robinson has named eleven replacements due to the severity of the injuries plaguing his squad at present.
Included among the eleven is Andrew Kelly, who will make his 100th appearance in an Edinburgh shirt should he take the field.
Matt Mustchin and Hugo Southwell, who both missed last Saturday's Heineken Cup win at Castres, are also named amongst the list of potential replacements while the starting line-up remains the same.
For Connacht Mel Deane has recovered from a hamstring injury to take the inside centre berth beside Gavin Duffy.
In the forwards there are two changes in the front row with John Lyne starting at loosehead prop alongside Sean Cronin at hooker, while in the back row Colm Rigney comes in at number eight.
David Gannon is named on the bench for the first time this season having recovered from a calf injury which had kept him out of contention since the new season began.
