Dragons coach Paul Turner has named Colin Charvis in the team to face Glasgow Warriors on Saturday.
Charvis made his first appearance for the club since becoming contact and defence skills coach in the 53rd minute against Newcastle in the EDF Cup.
And having been named as the man-of-the-match in that clash, the 35-year-old has earned a place in the starting XV.
And Turner is relishing seeing Charvis lead from the front.
"It's great to see Colin back in the starting fifteen where his leadership qualities will add another dimension to our performance levels," said Turner.
"The impact that Colin had on last week's game was evident for all to see and we'll be looking for more of the same this week in the Heineken Cup."
Brutal
Glasgow Warriors have already beaten the Dragons in the Magners League 12-6 in wet conditions earlier in the season.
But head coach Sean Lineen is expecting a tough battle at Rodney Parade.
"I think it'll be a pretty brutal game," Lineen told the club's official website.
"We know each other pretty well and managed to sneak a win the last time we were down when Dan had his kicking boots on in pretty atrocious conditions.
"However, that game will bear no resemblance to this one with all the hype and pressure that's on both sides. There's so much at stake."
