Rising Dragons star Jason Tovey moves back to fly-half for the visit of Glasgow to Rodney Parade.
Tovey had started the opening day to Connacht at full-back, but he will wear the No.10 jersey as the Newport side look to bounce back.
Canada international Matt Evans moves to full-back, with Wales lock Luke Charteris set to lead the side as Tom Willis has failed a fitness test.
Glasgow coach Sean Lineen believes his side's away form will be key to their play-off hopes.
The Warriors travel to the Dragons on Sunday having only suffered three losses on the road last season and Lineen believes it is vital that his side replicate this form.
Lineen, who saw his side record a rousing 22-19 victory over Leinster in the opening game of the season, said: "This is a huge game. We had a good away record last season of four wins and two draws, but we're travelling down to Newport and it's going to be difficult.
"All six home teams won at the weekend so it's going to form in terms of home advantage but it's going to crack at some point and it would be great for us to do it against Newport on Sunday.
"Newport are going to be tough but it's a good one to get after the high against Leinster."
Lineen has made two changes to the side that beat Leinster, with Ed Kalman starting at tighthead prop in place of Moray Low and Canada flanker Chauncey O'Toole handed his debut.
Colin Gregor has been named on the bench for the clash after recovering from surgery on his knee.
