New Wales prop Rhys Thomas will feature in the Dragons line-up against Munster in the Magners League at Rodney Parade on Saturday.
Thomas, who has been named in the Wales starting line-up for the Six Nations clash with Italy in Rome Saturday week, will pack down against the Heineken Cup champions seven days before only his second championship start for his country.
Head coach Paul Turner has selected Jason Tovey at full-back with Japanese international James Arlidge at number ten to partner Wayne Evans at half-back as the Dragons go in search of a third straight tournament win.
Tournament leaders Munster have made three changes to the side that beat Edinburgh with Kieran Lewis on the right wing in place of Doug Howlett.
A shuffled back row sees Alan Quinlan come off the bench and onto the flank, moving Denis Leamy to the other side of the scrum.
