Edinburgh will welcome back Scotland international Nick De Luca for the visit of Castres on Sunday.
De Luca has been sidelined this season with a groin injury, however he has recovered to take his place on the bench.
And Edinburgh coach Rob Moffat admitted it was a boost to the squad to have the experienced centre available.
"It's great to have Nick back and available for selection, because he's a really influential member of the squad and a positive presence in the dressing room," Moffat told the club's official site.
"He's had to show patience so far this season, but I know he's really chomping at the bit to get some rugby under his belt and everyone at the club is delighted he's now at the stage to do so.
Moffat also welcomes back Tim Visser and Stuart McInally to the line-up for the clash, while Simon Webster is included on the bench.
Castres might have beaten Edinburgh last time out, but that has not stopped them making 14 changes to their line-up.
Vincent Inigo, Joseph Tatupu and Chris Masoe are retained in the line-up - although Tatupu is moved from the centres to the wing, while Masoe starts at No.8.
