Edinburgh are missing Scotland international David Callam for their Heineken Cup encounter against Leicester at Murrayfield on Saturday.
Callam is not fit for selection after picking up a shoulder injury during Edinburgh's 11-10 Magners League victory over Cardiff Blues on Friday.
His place in the back row goes to Roland Reid, with Allister Hogg consequently moving from blind side to number eight.
In the back line, Ben Cairns switches to the right wing, while Hugo Southwell returns to the fray at full-back.
Prop Gavin Kerr, who missed last weekend's victory over the Blues with a sickness bug, returns to reclaim the number three shirt.
Good form
Edinburgh were thrashed 39-0 by Leicester at Welford Road in November but have since gone on to record five wins from their last six games.
"We are really looking forward to playing against Leicester and measuring where we are now in comparison to where we were three months ago," said coach Andy Robinson.
Leicester remain in danger of not making the quarter-finals after a decidedly poor showing on the road this season.
The 2001 and 2002 winners have already lost in Dublin and Toulouse and will be hoping to bounce back to take their hopes of qualification to the final round.
Moody blue
Head coach Marcelo Loffreda has seen flanker Lewis Moody become the latest Tiger to pick up an injury.
The England international is ruled out of this weekend's match, so Brett Deacon comes in to take his place in the back-row.
The only other change to the team that started the Guinness Premiership win over Harlequins last time out sees Julian White come in to the front row.
The prop missed the win at the Twickenham Stoop due to 'flu. Frank Murphy was also absent for the same reason but he is back on the bench.
Centre Dan Hipkiss is also amongst the list of replacements with Ollie Smith and Aaron Mauger starting in midfield.
