Edinburgh will look to bounce back from their defeat to Northampton when they entertain Ulster.
Edinburgh were edged out 31-27 by the Saints in the Heineken Cup despite performing well for long periods.
And coach Rob Moffat knows it is vital that his side don't switch off against Ulster.
"There was a lot to be pleased about in our display last Saturday, but we said all along that getting the win was what counted above all else," he said.
"The challenge this week is pretty clear: keep performing positively, keep trying to hurt the opposition, and make sure we maintain that edge from first to last.
"We lost a bit of momentum in the second half last week, and Ulster are the sort of team who will capitalise on any drop-off in our performance. The boys know we'll need to be sharp all night on Friday, and after the Leinster and Aironi wins, they're keen to keep that sequence going."
Andrew Kelly and Ross Rennie both come into the Edinburgh line-up for the clash, with Ross Ford and Roddy Grant rested.
Promoted
Ulster make the trip with a new-look to their line-up following back-to-back Heineken Cup games.
Only Ruan Pienaar is the only back to retain his position, with David McIlwaine moving from full-back to left wing and Adam D'Arcy is promoted to the No.15 jersey.
Andrew Trimble moves to the centres alongside Ian Whitten, as Paddy Wallace switches to fly-half and Mark McCrea starts on the wing.
In the pack, Paddy McAllister replaces Tom Court in the front row with Dan Tuohy partnering Johann Muller at lock, and Chris Henry, Stephen Ferris and Robbie Diack teaming up in the back row.
