England new-boy Courtney Lawes is being backed to make a huge impact off the bench against Australia at Twickenham on Saturday.
The 20-year-old Northampton lock has been named among the replacements after an impressive start to the season in the Premiership and in Europe.
Lawes, in particular, caught the eye as he gave Munster's second row pairing of Donncha O'Callaghan and Lions captain Paul O'Connell a torrid time in Northampton's 31-27 Heineken Cup win in October.
And Saints director of rugby Jim Mallinder insists Lawes can carry this form into the international arena.
Mallinder said: "I hope Courtney gets an opportunity because we at Northampton know what he can do.
"He doesn't seem to be fazed by anything, big games seem to inspire him and bring the best out of him. I am really looking forward to, and anticipating, a really good performance from Courtney.
"The coverage he has been getting has not surprised me because he has been improving and at the end of last season he was getting better and better and putting in some big performances.
"He has continued that form this season. It hasn't been a surprise and we hope he goes well."
Like Lawes, former Wasps and Leicester centre Ayoola Erinle is set to back his debut off the bench.
Toughest
England manager Martin Johnson has opted to name an all-Leicester back-row of Jordan Crane, Lewis Moody and Tom Croft, while all eyes will be on the long-awaited return of Jonny Wilkinson at fly-half.
Danny Care will partner Wilkinson at half-back, although a lot is expected of the World Cup winner's link-up with the in-form Shane Geraghty, who moves to inside centre.
Australia coach Robbie Deans believes Saturday's clash will be the hardest match on his side's European tour.
The Wallabies will take on England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland as they look to repeat their 1984 Grand Slam triumph.
However Deans has no doubt that England will provide the sternest test to his side's aspirations.
"Saturday is the toughest game because it's England at Twickenham - that's the way it is," he said.
"We'll have to earn everything we get. We've prepared to win the match and that's what we're aspiring to do.
"England will expect to win and we have an opportunity to chase that result, but we're presuming nothing.
"I wasn't aware that we're favourites and frankly it doesn't interest me.
"There's no balance to be struck between rebuilding and winning - we want to do well on Saturday."
Deans has changed his backline for the match, with Quade Cooper and Drew Mitchell both set to start.
Cooper will partner Digby Ioane in the centres, with Mitchell coming in on the wing and Adam Ashley-Cooper moving to full-back.
Ryan Cross and James O'Connor both drop to the bench.
In the pack, George Smith pips David Pocock to the No.7 jersey.
