England boss Martin Johnson has handed first international starts to Matt Banahan, Jordan Turner-Hall, Chris Robshaw and David Wilson for the clash with the Barbarians.
Saturday's clash at Twickenham is a non-capped international, however the quartet will get their chance to stake claims for first caps in the two Tests against Argentina in June.
Gloucester prop Nick Wood and versatile Toulon-bound back Tom May could also make their first appearances after being named on the bench.
Banahan had originally been named in the Saxons squad, however he has been called in on the wing ahead of Mark Cueto, Mathew Tait and David Strettle.
Robshaw and Turner-Hall, the Guinness Premiership player of the year and young player of the year, have been rewarded for their impressive performances this season, while Wilson is seen as the ideal replacement for the banned Matt Stevens.
Johnson has also caused a surprise by naming Ben Foden on the wing for his first start, with the Northampton ace having previously impressed at full-back and scrum-half.
Johnson has opted to rest a number of Leicester players following their Heineken Cup and Guinness Premiership final encounters - although Louis Deacon and Lewis Moody are included in the starting XV.
Moody has been dogged by injury in recent years but will be looking to use the game cement his place in the back row.
There is also a return for World Cup-winning hooker Steve Thompson, who is included in an England 22 for the first time since 2006.
Thompson had retired after suffering a serious neck injury, however he has enjoyed a successful return to action for French club Brive.
Twickenham farewell
Meanwhile, World Cup winners Martin Corry and Josh Lewsey will bid Twickenham farewell playing for the Barbarians on Saturday.
Retiring former England captain and Lions back row Corry will play his penultimate senior match - the Baa-Baas also scheduled to face Australia in Sydney on June 6.
The 35-year-old will be joined by former Wasps back Lewsey, who is also playing his final game on English soil.
London Irish's veteran fly-half Mike Catt, who also looks set to end his playing career, is included on the bench.
The Barbarians line-up holds a total of 632 international caps and includes two of Leinster's Heineken Cup winners: number eight Rocky Elsom and centre Gordon D'Arcy.
Seven former All Blacks are also involved - Ben Blair, Doug Howlett, Justin Marshall, Clarke Dermody, Greg Somerville, Chris Jack and Jerry Collins.
