Martin Corry will look to set the record straight as England take on Wales at Twickenham on Saturday.
Despite the match being classed as a World Cup warm-up, Corry will be a man on the mission as he looks to wipe away the memories of his last meeting with Wales.
The RBS Six Nations clash between the two sides saw England slump to 27-18 defeat to the Welsh in March - and Corry is gunning for revenge.
He said: "That game has been part of our preparation for this weekend.
"It was my last appearance in an England shirt, and it left a very sour taste. Not just losing, but the manner in which we lost it.
"It was very disappointing. I am not saying a good showing on Saturday will eradicate that, but we can put a few wrongs right.
"This is England versus Wales. Going into the World Cup we need to have a very good show to start pushing us up the leaderboard, so to speak."
Headaches
Corry returns to the back-row for the match, having been successfully deployed in the second row during the Six Nations.
However, Corry is not concerned about where he plays, saying: "All I am looking to do is give coaches headaches about where to pick me."
Wales scrum-half Gareth Cooper will look to take his chance to gate-crash the World Cup squad when he pulls on the No.9 shirt at Twickenham.
Cooper has dropped behind Dwayne Peel and Mike Phillips in the international pecking order - and now faces a battle to convince coach Gareth Jenkins he should be part of the 30-man squad for France.
With winger Shane Williams able to provide cover to Phillips and Peel, Cooper knows he must make an impression against England.
He said: "Hopefully I can put in a big performance on Saturday and make his mind up for him.
Difficult
"I've played in some big matches in the past but, considering where I am at the moment, this is probably the biggest game of my life.
"Getting over the nerves and the pressure is going to be a difficult thing, with so much at stake, but I've got to try and get out there and enjoy the experience.
"We've got to go out and give a good team performance, which will give us all the best opportunity to be selected for the World Cup."
