Glasgow Warriors will be without captain Alastair Kellock as they welcome French powerhouse Biarritz to Firhill on Sunday.
Sean Lineen's men will go into battle against the French side without skipper Kellock after he damaged an elbow during the Magners League defeat at Connacht last week.
Dan Turner comes in to replace Kellock at lock, while Hefin O'Hare is brought in on the left wing with Tom Evans ruled out with a hamstring injury.
Experienced campaigners Daryl Gibson and Sam Pinder have also been recalled into the team, with Gibson playing at inside centre and Pinder replacing Chris O'Young at scrum-half.
Andrew Henderson moves to outside centre to enable Gibson to play at 12, while Dan Parks will captain the side in the absence of Kellock.
After an opening loss at Saracens and a home victory over Viadana, Glasgow are just two points behind their illustrious opponents in Pool Four.
Biarritz coach Patrice Lagisquet has made five changes from his side's outing against Bayonne in the Top 14 last week.
Centre Damien Traille returns in the only change to the backline, while up front, a new-look front-row has been selected.
In the back-row, new Springbok signing Jacques Cronjé makes way for veteran flanker Serge Betsen on the flank.
The 2006 Heineken Cup runners-up arrive in Scotland looking for a third successive win after unconvincing victories against Saracens and Viadana.
And to underline the French side's strength, they have won their last six matches on the road in the competition.
