Play-off chasing Glasgow will look to build on their win over Aironi when they entertain Cardiff Blues on Friday.
The Warriors are in the mix for a top-four finish after losing only one of their last 14 games - however the Blues have play-off ambitions of their own.
"There's no doubt in my mind that this will be right up there with Test rugby in terms of intensity, physicality and the absolute determination to win from both sides," said Warriors coach Sean Lineen.
"We're now at the point in the season where there's very little margin for error, and I know I speak for all the players and staff when I say that we relish the challenge of securing another result that allows us to hold or improve our position in the table.
Passionate
"The game means just as much to Cardiff as it does to us, so another controlled but passionate performance will be required from all 23 guys who'll pull on that Glasgow shirt."
Lineen has made five changes to his line-up, with Al Kellock, Rob Harley, Chris Cusiter, Graeme Morrison and Stuart Hogg handed starts.
Cardiff, too, have made five alterations to their line-up following the defeat to the Scarlets.
Leigh Halfpenny, Jamie Roberts and Ceri Sweeny come into the back division, while Bradley Davies, who has completed his seven-week ban, and Maama Molitika bolster the pack.
