Glasgow coach Sean Lineen has handed rising star Robert Harley the chance to shine against Connacht.
Flanker Harley has impressed off the bench in the opening weeks, so he gets the nod for the starting XV.
And Lineen believes Harley has earned his place in the side, saying: "Robert is being rewarded for all his hard work. He's got a fantastic attitude and has made a big impact every time he's come on."
Andrew Browne has been added to the Connacht squad for the visit to Firhill on Friday.
Browne comes in on bench for Dave Nolan following the agonising last-minute defeat to the Scarlets.
Head coach Eric Elwood has resisted the temptation to make more changes, while Ray Ofisa, Niva Ta'auso and Bernie Upton have all passed fitness tests to play.
