Glasgow Warriors have made four changes to their starting XV from the historic Heineken Cup victory over Toulouse.
The Warriors will be in confident mood after picking up a shock win in the last round away to the French giants, despite already being eliminated from the competition.
Paul Turner's Dragons stand no chance of qualifying for the quarter-finals either, but will look to maintain their form against the Scottish side.
Newport came out on top the last time these sides met in the Heineken Cup, winning the game 32-22 at Rodney Parade.
And the Welsh team also defeated the Warriors in their Magners League clash at the turn of the year.
Fresh from his call-up to the Scotland squad, 20-year-old fly-half Ruaridh Jackson is the only new face in the Warriors' back-line.
In the pack, the front five remains the same with both Calum Forrester and Johnnie Beattie returning to the back row and the versatile Kelly Brown moving from blindside to openside flanker.
With two domestic starts for the Warriors already to his name, Forrester is delighted to be handed his first in European competition.
"It's been frustrating not to have played as much first team rugby as I would like but I'm determined to take my chance on Sunday in a massive game against the Dragons," he said.
