Chris Cusiter, Peter Murchie and Rob Dewey will all make their debuts for Glasgow's Magners League opener against champions Munster.
Cusiter will start at scrum-half, with Murchie named in the centres in place of the injured Max Evans and Dewey edging out Hefin O'Hare and DTH van der Merwe for a place on the wing.
Head coach Sean Lineen said: "We have three quality scrum-halves and Chris has made a huge impact since he arrived here over the summer. I can't wait to see him perform in the Magners League.
"Rob has shown his scoring potential already and you can see the quality left out of the team as a result, with Hefin O'Hare and DTH van der Merwe challenging for a starting place.
"Peter Murchie is a classic case of a guy taking his chance. He is still learning but his work ethic is first-class and I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do against Munster."
Lineen also hands a first Magners League start for 22-year-old prop Jon Welsh, while Johnnie Beattie is recalled at No.8.
Jeremy Manning, Doug Howlett, Lifeimi Mafi and Tony Buckley have been passed fit to play for Munster.
The quartet had been due to line-up against Leicester in the club's final pre-season friendly but all were late withdrawals.
The impressive Felix Jones and Denis Hurley are retained in the starting XV, meaning Danny Barnes makes way for Howlett.
New signings Julien Brugnaut, the French player to join the club, and Toby Morland start on the bench.
