Scotland prop Moray Low has been called into the Glasgow line-up for the visit of Munster on Friday.
Low replaces the benched Ed Kalman and is one of changes made by head coach Sean Lineen.
Duncan Weir makes his first start at fly-half in place of Ed Kalman, while Federico Aramburu returns on the wing as Hefin O'Hare is set to take part in the Commonwealth Games with the Scotland Sevens squad.
Ireland flanker David Wallace returns to Munster's side for the trip to Firhill.
Wallace is joined in the back-row by Denis Leamy, who was a late withdrawal from the side last week with a rib injury.
However prop John Hayes misses out after suffering a back strain, so Darragh Hurley is named among the replacements.
With Denis Fogarty facing a lengthy spell out, Damien Varley takes over the No.2 jersey while Sean Henry is promoted to the bench.
Damien Varley takes over from the injured Denis Fogarty with Academy hooker Sean Henry his back up.
Munster have been forced to rejig the backline, with Paul Warwick moved to full-back and Johne Murphy switching to the wing. That means Lifeimi Mafi and Sam Tuitupou team up in the centres.
