Glasgow fly-half Dan Parks has recovered from injury to take his place in the side that takes on the Scarlets in the Magners League at Firhill Arena on Friday.
Parks, who was rated as 50-50 at the start of the week, has proved his fitness and will partner Mark McMillan at half-back.
There is also a return to the side for wing Lome Fa'atau, in a back-line that sees full-back Bernardo Stortoni, centres Max Evans and Graeme Morrison and winger Thom Evans all retain their places from last weekend.
With Eric Milligan and Fergus Thompson out injured Canadian prop Kevin Tkachuk will provide cover in the number two jersey from the bench.
