Glasgow finished their Heineken Cup campaign on a winning note, narrowly beating the Dragons 13-10 at Firhill.
Victory for the Warriors gives them back-to-back wins in Europe following their stunning success away at Toulouse the previous weekend.
While their triumph over the Dragons was not quite of the same quality, the result does mean they avoid the wooden spoon in the group.
Both teams grabbed a try apiece but eight points from the boot of Colin Gregor proved crucial in the final outcome.
Second chance
The scrum-half missed his opening effort at the posts after less than a minute, though he did not make the same mistake when given a second chance.
He found the target from 35 metres out soon after following a heavy hit on number 10 Ruaridh Jackson.
Gregor's second successful penalty, after the Dragons had killed the ball at a ruck, made it 6-0 to the hosts after 10 minutes.
It wasn't until four minutes from the finish that the visitors responded, though James Arlidge had twice missed penalty kicks.
Decision
Rather than go for the posts again, the Dragons decided to keep the ball alive and their decision paid off when hooker Tom Willis slid over in the corner.
Arlidge slotted over the conversion to make it 7-6 at the break but it did not take the Warriors long to force their way back in front.
The impressive Jackson went over for the home side's only try following two scrums close to the line. Gregor added the extras from a wide angle to inject further confidence but after promising start Glasgow were unable to push on.
In the end they were forced to cling on, Shaun Connor's penalty 11 minutes from time narrowing the gap down to three.
