Christian Califano replaces Carlos Nieto at tighthead prop, Luke Narraway switches to No.8 in place of Gareth Delve (knee) and openside flanker Akapusi Qera returns after a wrist injury,
There are also alterations behind the scrum - Rory Lawson preferred to Gareth Cooper at scrum-half and Willie Walker selected in the No.15 jersey place of Iain Balshaw, who is ruled out due to a gashed knee.
On the bench, Jeremy Paul comes into the squad for the first time since the end of November and there is also a recall for scrum-half Mike Prendergast.
James Simpson-Daniel makes his 100th Guinness Premiership appearance on the wing.
Lemi returns
Bristol have made five changes from the XV that drew 23-23 against Wasps on December 22.
Hooker Scot Linklater and prop Darren Crompton come into the pack in place of Mark Regan and Jason Hobson.
In the back division, Samoan winger David Lemi is fit to return but Jason Strange misses out due to an injury picked up against Wasps.
New Zealander David Hill takes over from Strange in the No.10 jersey, while Sam Cox replaces Neil Brew at inside centre.
