Gloucester coach Bryan Redpath has rejigged his pack for the visit of Newcastle on Saturday.
Following the defeat to Harlequins last time out Olivier Azam, Nick Wood, Alex Brown and Jim Hamilton are included in the starting XV.
Redpath has made a further change to his back division, with Jonny May coming in on the wing for the injured Charlie Sharples.
"Last weekend was embarrassing and we haven't hidden from that," said Redpath. "There has to be some form of reaction to that result. We were poor.
"We've watched a lot of video and asked a lot of questions this week and, ultimately, the proof will be in the pudding on Saturday. We're not a bad side, we've come a long way."
Pleased
Newcastle, who lost to Gloucester in the final of the LV= Cup, have also made a number of changes following their own defeat to Saracens.
Grant Shiells, Rob Vickers, Euan Murray, Mark Wilson and Tane T'uipulotu all some into the side, with Alex Tait moving to full-back.
And coach Alan Tait said: "This team is definitely capable of getting points down there.
"The lads want to go down there and give a good account of themselves, as every team should do in this league.
"I was pleased with the way we played against Saracens on Sunday so hopefully we can do the same this weekend."
