Harlequins have made six changes to the team that lost against Ospreys last weekend for their Heineken Cup match against Bristol at the Stoop on Saturday.
New Springbok signing, Gary Botha makes his first start for Harlequins and he will be alongside Ceri Jones and Mike Ross in the front row.
The rest of the pack will see only two changes, Jim Evans and captain Paul Volley regain their spots, so Nicolas Spanghero and Will Skinner both drop to the bench while Chris Hala'ufia replaces the injured Chris Robshaw.
In the backline, Danny Care returns as scrum-half and replaces Andy Gomarsall, while injury rules out Chris Malone, so Adrian Jarvis will continue in the fly-half position.
Tom Williams will take the place of Simon Keogh on the right wing.
The All-English clash will be keenly contested with both sides harbouring genuine ambitions of qualification.
Harlequins drew 13-13 with Cardiff Blues on their last outing, but gained a psychological edge over Bristol with a 24-18 win in their Guinness Premiership meeting in London two months ago.
Bristol produced the shock of the last round after toppling tournament favourites Stade Francais 17-0 at the Memorial Ground and in the process have thrown the group wide open.
Bristol head coach Richard Hill has made wholesale changes to his squad from last weekend's EDF Energy Cup against Leeds Carnegie.
Only ten remain from the squad for the Leeds game for the first part of a double-header against Quins which will have a big say on the group.
Neil Brew and David Hill both play for Bristol, but Tom Arscott is not available as he has not fully recovered from an ankle injury.
Jason Hobson and Alex Clarke join Mark Regan in the front row, while the experienced Darren Crompton is among the replacements.
Matt Salter, Alfie To'oala, and Andrew Blowers make up the back row, with Joe El Abd on the bench and Dan Ward-Smith ruled out with flu.
