The Highlanders have recalled Mat Berquist for the visit of the rejuvenated Western Force on Saturday.
Berquist replaces Robbie Robinson at fly-half, with the rest of the squad remaining the same as the line-up which lost to the Chiefs in Mount Maunganui last weekend.
The Western Force arrive in Queenstown buoyed by their first win of the season - and their mood will have been lifted further by the return to full fitness of Richard Brown and Cameron Shepherd.
Brown, who came off the bench against the Stormers, will partner David Pocock and Matt Hodgson in a very strong-looking back-row, while Shepherd will replace Scott Staniforth on the wing.
