The Hurricanes are sweating over the fitness of in-form scrum-half TJ Perenara for the New Zealand derby with the Crusaders.
Perenara damaged his ankle in training - and although the teenager has been provisionally been named in the starting XV he will face a late fitness test.
If Perenara is ruled, then Chris Eaton will be promoted from the replacements and Frae Wilson will come in on the bench.
Victor Vito has been declared fit to play, with the No.8 replacing Jack Lam in the line-up and Faifili Levave moving to the blindside.
Milestones
The other change to the line-up sees Jeremy Thrush team up with Jason Eaton in the second row.
There will be a trio of milestones for Crusaders in Wellington - with landmark appearances for Dan Carter, George Whitelock and Owen Franks.
New Zealand fly-half Carter will make his 100th Super Rugby appearance for the Crusaders, while Whitelock and Franks will bring up their half-centuries.
The Crusaders have made just one change to their line-up with Adam Whitelock coming in on the wing for Sean Maitland, who has been ruled out with an ankle injury.
