Leicester Tigers inflicted more misery on troubled Worcester as they recorded a 28-20 victory at Welford Road.
The Warriors have yet to taste victory in the Guinness Premiership this season, with only a battling draw against Wasps saving them from five straight defeats before facing the Tigers.
However, despite another gutsy performance against the Tigers, Mike Ruddock's side could not avoid slipping to another reverse.
Ben Herring, Ollie Smith and Benjamin Kayser crossed for tries for Leicester, while Paul Burke added 13 points from the boot.
For Worcester, Shane Drahm's kicking attempted to them in touch, while Dale Rasmussen and Drew Hickey scored tries.
Worcester's hopes were not helped with the entire second half being played with uncontested scrums after the Tigers lost props Boris Stankovich and Martin Castrogiovanni through injury in the first 40 minutes.
Burke and Drahm had swapped penalties in the opening 10 minutes after a tentative start.
However Leicester quickly found their stride and were rewarded when Herring, making his debut after arriving from the Hurricanes, powered over. Burke converted.
Rewarded
Despite their lack of results, Worcester have continued to plug away this season - and they were rewarded on the half-hour when they levelled the scores, Rasmussen scoring for Drahm to convert.
Worcester's joy was shortlived though as Burke slotted over his second penalty before he was on target on 36 minutes to add the extras to Smith's try.
Drahm's second penalty cut the deficit to seven points two minutes after the interval, however Burke's three-pointer saw Leicester move 23-13 infront.
Worse was to follow for Worcester as Kayser powered over for Leicester's third try of the afternoon.
However, again the visitors attempt to claw their way back into the match, with Hickey stretching over. Loki Crichton converted to see the Warriors trail by eight points.
But, unlike in their stunning coming back against Wasps, this time the Warriors could not reduce the deficit further.
