Lions boss John Mitchell has made four changes to his line-up for the visit of the Chiefs to Coca-Cola Park.
Lionel Mapoe, Franco van der Merwe and Martin Bezuidenhout come back into the starting XV - with Michael Killian moving from wing to full-back.
Jaco Taute drops to the bench while Bandise Maku has been ruled out of the match through injury.
The Lions also welcome back Josh Strauss on the bench, while Edgar Marutlulle joins him among the replacements.
The Chiefs have named All Blacks fly-half Stephen Donald in their side for the match.
Donald replaces Mike Delany in the No.10 jersey as one of four changes, with Scott Waldrom, Craig Clarke and Aled de Malmanche also handed starts.
Hika Elliot drops to the bench for de Malmanche, with Bay of Plenty loose forward Sam Cane and Hayden Triggs also named among the replacements.
